Dear sir, i thought you knew?such a great honor, this is, for you to approach me and grace me with your voice,
though your words are not at all heartening.

you tell me such strange things, sir. you say i am to leave my homeland,
and serve your family? why?
you say it is because my house is no longer mine,

Chapter 2: To move the RockWhen i got a call from Kail saying he found yet ANOTHER cave, i have to admit i wasn't all that excited to check it out. and, maybe i shouldn't have gone. maybe we shouldn't have moved that boulder... "Ah, but what happened to good ol' curiosity, Ben?" he said.
"Oh, what, didn't you hear? Curiosity killed the cat, dumbass."
"Satisfaction brought 'im back," he shot back.
"No, that was a really good vet."
"hahaha! good one, Ben! now hurry up and help me with this, will ya?"
i rolled my eyes and helped him fasten the chains around the boulder, and hook it to Kail's pickup. "i don't think this is gonna work, dude. i mean, look at that thing! it's gotta weigh a ton, at least," i said, tightening the chains to make sure it wouldn't slip. "ah, don't even worry 'bout it, bro," he said, getting in his truck. "this baby's got four-wheel drive, and 2,000 horsepower. i think we're good." i stepped out of the way, as he started the truck and revved the engine.

Chapter 1: In the Darktrapped... iv'e been trapped in this cave for a great many centuries, alone, and without light to separate the dark. for centuries, i have lived without food or water, and even longer still without warmth. i thought i'd be dead by now, and yet still i live on, like a weed breaking through stone. on the edge of my consciousness, i was aware this loneliness was driving me to insanity, as i wandered these caverns alone, searching for a way out, and always coming back to where i started, over and over again, until i wanted to rip out my heart to ease the pain of never-ending disappointment. and while i lay on this cold stone floor, staring at the stalagmites, and listening as glow worm dung dripped to the floor, i wish for death to take me.
i cannot fathom why he leaves me here, living, when i am certain all my previous companions are sure to be dead. i am alone, now. i close my eyes, waiting for sleep to come, though i know a

the angel who feels"why do you cry?", asks a small child to the angel.
"cry?" she says, confused.
the boy reaches and wipes something from her face.
she is shocked to see tears adorning his small hand.
"i know not, earth child. do you know?"
he shrugs, saying, "maybe you're sad?"
"sad? impossible... i don't know 'sadness'."
"why?" asks the small boy, crawling on the angles' lap.
the angel wraps her arms around him and replies, "because, dear child, it is a human emotion.
i am an angel. i have no emotions of my own."
and even as she says this,
still tears roll down her perfect face,
down from her perfect silver-blue eyes,
and falls upon the child's cheek, sparkling like a star.
"this is strange... there is a pain in my chest,
though i am not wounded..."
the child looks at her perfect face with pity at this poor angel,
who doesn't even know how it feels to feel.
